Nowadays life is busy and demanding. Some of us go to sweat in the gym direct from office, whereas some go to office right from the gym. And this often lead us wondering what should we include and what should we not include in our list of essentials. Clothes and sippers are in everyone’s bags but what apart from sipper and clothes should be in your gym bag to have a great session in the gym.

 

  1. Deodorant

A deodorant is a must have in every gym goers bag. working out makes you sweat a lot and sweating leads to bad odor. Accept it we smell like onions. And who knows that guy / gal you have been checking out at the gym might ask you for a coffee or a meal post gym. You don’t want to smell like an onion when you go a date. Do you ?

 

  1. Sipper / Shaker

Wether you take intra or post workout supplements or not I recommend sipper to anyone who goes to the gym. Taking water breaks during workout and going to the water dispenser disrupts your focus, someone might hold you for a conversation. And your short break might become a long one. Plus who wants to get cups dirty every time you drink water. If your gym has paper cups you need to save paper, or if your gym has reusable cups how do you know how well they are washed or cleaned ?

 

  1. Bluetooth Headphone

The technology today is at its best. Most gyms play their own music and at times the music they play is not something which pumps and motivates you. Gone are the days of hands free and wired headphones. Wired headphones is an outdated technology, plus with a wired headphone you need to carry your phone with you in the gym, the wires get tangled often, it’s a problem carrying the phone and running on the treadmill.

  1. Gloves

Gloves are an also essential gear to be have had in every gym gores bag. Gloves help you get a better grip when your palms are sweaty plus they also help protect your hand from caluses.

  1. Wrist Bands

Just like knee wraps, elbow support and gloves,wrist support also ensures safe workout in the gym. You may not need knee wraps or elbow support much but the wrist support may be necessary. And If you are doing some heavy lifting in the gym then wrist support is highly recommended.
